Communist Party of Ecuador–Red Sun
The Communist Party of Ecuador – Red Sun (Spanish: Partido Comunista de Ecuador - Sol Rojo, or PCE-SR), also known as Puka Inti (Quechua for "Red Sun") is a small Marxist–Leninist–Maoist guerrilla organization in Ecuador. The group was founded on June 1st, 1993[1] by a man using the moniker Comrade Joselo.[2] The group is largely constituted by former members of ¡Alfaro Vive, Carajo! The organization considers itself to be ideologically close to the Peruvian Communist Party (PCP).
