Chiasmocleis
Chiasmocleis is a genus of microhylid frogs.[1][2] They are found in tropical South America (north and east of the Andes) as well as in southern Central America, in Panama. Their common name is humming frogs.[1]

The genus, as defined earlier, was found to be polyphyletic. To remedy this, some species have been transferred to Elachistocleis and Syncope.[3][1]
