Chennai Slam
Chennai Slam is an UBA Pro Basketball League franchise based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu which began to play in October 2014 during the inaugural season of the UBA Pro Basketball League. They are the reigning champions of the UBA Pro Basketball League, after winning the title in 2016 third season.

The complex also houses a multipurpose indoor stadium with a seating capacity of 8,000 which hosts volleyball, basketball, table tennis games. The stadium is also used for functions and concerts. The stadium is named after Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister.
The stadium is located at Sydenhams Road, Park Town behind the Chennai Central suburban railway station and Ripon Building.
Seasons
2015 season
On 17 July 2015 at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, Chennai Slam start their first UBA Pro Basketball League with a 65–61 loss to Hyderabad Sky, but made a comeback with four victories. The team finished its 6-game regular season in second place in the division.
In the semifinals, Chennai Slam enter final after beating Punjab Steelers 92–77. They won the first season of the UBA Pro Basketball League by beating Pune Peshwas 81–49 in the finals.
2016 season
For the second season of UBA Pro Basketball League, Defending champions Chennai retained their core lineup from last season of point guard Chukwunanu Agu (from Nigeria), shooting guard Carmel and captain Aditya Biswas. Their frontcourt has been shored up this year with the addition of centre Gopal, who is a big body on the inside, along with forward Ashutosh Rai from the Services. Chennai Slam is directly through to the semifinals as the top team from the South Division.
