Charlie Dalin
Charlie Dalin is a French sailor born on 10th May 1984 in le Havre. He is an offshore sailor having extensively competed in the Figaro class and also has an engineering degree in Naval Architecture.[1] He placed second in the quadrennial Vendée Globe race around the world that took place in 2020-2021, with a time of 80 days, 6 hours, 15 minutes and 47 seconds. He covered 28,268 nautical miles at a race average of 14.67 knots.[2] He has a Naval Architecture degree from the University of Southampton.[3]
