Chakrapani Khanal
Chakrapani Khanal, also known by his nom de guerre Baldev, is a Nepali communist politician and the current parliamentarian from Kapilvastu 1. He is a Standing Committee member of Nepal Communist Party (NCP). He has served as the Minister for Agricultural and Livestock Development and as chief political adviser to Pushpa Kamal Dahal during his second prime ministership.[1][2] He was a leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist-Centre) during the insurgency period and served as one of 4 deputy commanders of People's Liberation Army.[3]
