Chaffee, Washington
Chaffee is an unincorporated community in Benton County, Washington, United States, located approximately five miles west of Benton City on the north bank of the Yakima River.

The community arose as a siding on the Oregon-Washington railroad. Chaffee was named in honor of Stephen E. Chaffee, an attorney who owned land in the area. The community had a post office from October 1924 to December 1926.[3]
