Cephalodiscus gilchristi is a sessile hemichordate belonging to the order Cephalodiscida.[2] It is found in South Africa in 1908.

The parasitic copepod Zanclopus cephalodisci has been found in the intestines of Cephalodiscus gilchristi.[3]
