Central District (Marand County)
The Central District of Marand County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان مرند) is a district (bakhsh) in Marand County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 201,747, in 52,369 families.[1] The District has four cities: Marand, Zonuz, Koshksaray, and Bonab Jadid. The District has seven rural districts (dehestan): Bonab Rural District, Dowlatabad Rural District, Harzandat-e Gharbi Rural District, Harzandat-e Sharqi Rural District, Koshksaray Rural District, Mishab-e Shomali Rural District, and Zonuzaq Rural District.
