Bulqizë District
Bulqizë District (Albanian: Rrethi i Bulqizës) was one of the thirty-six districts of Albania (which were dissolved in 2000). It had a population of 42,985 in 2001, and an area of 718 km².[1] Located in the east of the country, its capital was Bulqizë. Its territory is now part of Dibër County, and corresponds with that of the present municipality of Bulqizë.
