Breg pri Temenici

Breg pri Temenici (pronounced [ˈbɾeːk pɾi ˈteːmɛnitsi]; German: Rann[2]) is a settlement on the right bank of the Temenica River in the Municipality of Ivančna Gorica in central Slovenia. The railway line from Ljubljana to Novo Mesto runs just south of the settlement. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.[3]

Name

The name of the settlement was changed from Breg to Breg pri Velikem Gabru in 1955.[4] The name was changed again in 1997 to Breg pri Temenici.[5] In the past the German name was Rann.[2]
