Boston Theological Institute (BTI) is the largest theological consortium in the world, bringing together the resources of theological schools and seminaries throughout the greater Boston area and some of the most prestigious educational institutions.

- Boston College School of Theology and Ministry, Brighton formerly Weston Jesuit School of Theology (Roman Catholic)
- Boston University School of Theology, Brookline (United Methodist)
- Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Roxbury, main campus in Hamilton, Massachusetts (Evangelical)
- Hartford Seminary, Hartford, Connecticut (non-denominational)
- Harvard Divinity School, Cambridge (non-denominational)
- Hebrew College with its Rabbinical and Cantorial Schools, Newton (non-denominational)
- Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, Brookline (Greek Orthodox)
