Bird on 52nd St.
Bird on 52nd St. is a live album by saxophone player Charlie Parker, originally released in 1957 under the Jazz Workshop label, as JWS 501. It was recorded in 1948[2] on a home tape recorder.[3] Even though it was remastered and restored in 1994, the recording is still very problematic, characterised by continuous noises and whirrings; besides several tracks are cut.
