Bibhutibhushan Mukhopadhyay
Bibhutibhushan Mukhopadhyay (24 October 1894 – 29 July 1987)[1] was an Indian Bengali language author.

Bibhutibhushan Mukhopadhyay was born on 24 October 1894 in Pandoul, a village of the Mithila region of British India. His ancestral village is Chatra, Serampore in West Bengal.
He received the Ananda Puraskar award in 1958, the Rabindra Puraskar in 1972 and the Sharatchandra Puraskar in 1978. He was also awarded the Jagattarini Puraskar from Calcutta University, a D.Litt. degree from the University of Burdwan and Desikottama from the Visva-Bharati University of Shantiniketan.
Mukhopadhyay died on 29 July 1987 in Darbhanga at the age of 93, He never married.
