Benjamin Moore & Co.

Benjamin Moore & Co., also known as Benjamin Moore Paints or simply Benjamin Moore, is an American company that produces paint. It is owned by Berkshire Hathaway. Founded in 1883, Benjamin Moore is based in Montvale, New Jersey. The Moore Brothers founded the company in Brooklyn, New York, with one product, "Moore's Prepared Calsom Finish", and sold their paints only through independent retailers. Beginning in spring 2020, Benjamin Moore became the official paint supplier to the Ace Hardware chain, ending its long-term policy of only selling through independent Benjamin Moore dealers.[3]
