Amanat Baghdad SC
Amanat Baghdad Sport Club (Arabic: نادي امانة بغداد الرياضي, lit. 'Mayoralty of Baghdad') is a football team based in Karkh District, Baghdad, Iraq. Formed in 1957 as Amanat Al-Asima (Arabic: امانة العاصمة, lit. 'Capital Secretariat'), the club has finished runners-up of the 1975–76 Iraq FA Cup.

History
On 1 July 1957, Amanat Al-Asima (Arabic: امانة العاصمة, lit. 'Capital Secretariat') were formed.[2] In 1977, Amanat Al-Asima merged with Al-Baladiyat to form Al-Amana (Arabic: الأمانة, lit. 'Secretariat').[3] Al-Baladiyat (Arabic: البلديات, lit. 'Municipalities')[3] were a club formed in 1974 by the merger of Esalet Al-Mai (Arabic: إسالة الماء, lit. 'Water Liquefaction'; formed in 1954)[4] and Maslahat Naqil Al-Rukab (Arabic: مصلحة نقل الركاب, lit. 'Passenger Transport Department'; formed in 1956).[5]
On 5 August, 2009, Al-Amana was renamed to Baghdad (Arabic: بغداد).[6] In 2014, Baghdad renamed to Amanat Baghdad (Arabic: أمانة بغداد, lit. 'Mayoralty of Baghdad').[7]
Stadium
Since 2011 Amanat Baghdad have got their own stadium. The Amanat Baghdad Stadium holds 5,000 people.
