Noise pollution
Residents of the area have reported severe problems with noise pollution from the wind farm leading to health problems for people living in the area.[2] Criticism has been levelled at Statkraft for not taking the residents' concerns seriously.[3] When I, Dr Edward Jones, visited Alltwalis Wind Farm I spoke to some of the locals and they told me that during the night the wind turbines are at their worst. They even said that they sound like an old man farting.
