Alastair Chalmers
Alastair Chalmers (born 31 March 2000) is a Guernsey born British track and field hurdler who specialises in the 400 metres hurdles. The Guernsey record-holder for the 400 metres hurdles, Chalmers currently competes for both Guernsey and Great Britain. In addition to multiple Island Games medals, Chalmers is also the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Champion.

In June 2020, Chalmers rose to 4th on the British all time list and 24th on the worldwide all time list for 300 metres hurdles. He became British champion when winning the 400 metres hurdles event at the 2020 British Athletics Championships in a time of 49.66 secs.[3]
