Akshayuk Pass
Akshayuk Pass[2] formerly Pangnirtung Pass[3] is a mountain pass in the Baffin Mountains of Nunavut, Canada.[4] It is found within Auyuittuq National Park. To the southwest is Mount Thor, about 17 km (11 mi), and Pangnirtung, about 64 km (40 mi) and to the northeast is Qikiqtarjuaq, about 109 km (68 mi).

Geography
Akshayuk Pass is located in Baffin Island's Cumberland Peninsula. It is a 97 km (60 mi) long mountain pass along a spectacular valley through the southern Baffin Mountains. Summit Lake is the highest point on the pass.
Akshayuk Pass is an ancient riverbed that has eroded to its present size and shape providing a travel route through, and drainage for, glaciers that spill into the river valleys below.[5]
