Aiello del Friuli (Friulian: Daèl) is a comune (municipality) in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Udine.

Joannis is the birthplace of Enzo Bearzot, former Italian football player and manager, who won the 1982 FIFA World Cup as coach.[3]
