Administrative divisions of Vinnytsia Oblast

Vinnytsia Oblast is subdivided into districts (raions) which are subdivided into amalgamated territorial communities (hromadas).

On 18 July 2020, the number of districts was reduced to six.[1][2] These are:

  1. Haisyn (Гайсинський район), the center is in the town of Haisyn;
  2. Khmilnyk (Хмільницький район), the center is in the town of Khmilnyk;
  3. Mohyliv-Podilskyi (Могилів-Подільський район), the center is in the town of Mohyliv-Podilskyi;
  4. Tulchyn (Тульчинський район), the center is in the town of Tulchyn;
  5. Vinnytsia (Вінницький район), the center is in the city of Vinnytsia;
  6. Zhmerynka (Жмеринський район), the center is in the town of Zhmerynka.

Before 2020, Vinnytsia Oblast was subdivided into 33 regions: 27 districts (raions) and 6 city municipalities (mis'krada or misto), officially known as territories governed by city councils.[3]
