Abay District, Karaganda Region
Abay District (Kazakh: Абай ауданы, Abaı aýdany) is a district of Karaganda Region in central Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the town of Abay.[2] Population: 54,057 (2013 estimate);[1] 53,214 (2009 Census results);[3] 65,306 (1999 Census results).[3]
