AMITA Health is an interfaith health system, a joint venture between Alexian Brothers Health System (part of Ascension) and Adventist Midwest Health (part of AdventHealth).[1] AMITA operates several hospitals and hundreds of medical offices, among other facilities.

History
AMITA Health was created in February 2015 as a joint venture between Alexian Brothers Health System (part of Ascension) and Adventist Midwest Health (part of AdventHealth).[1] Mark Frey was named CEO of the company.[6]
In 2018, Ascension acquired Presence Health and merged it into AMITA Health.[7]
In September 2019, several executives left the company, including CEO Mark Frey.[6] In December, the company named Keith Parrott president and CEO.[3]
