24 July 2017 Kabul bombing
On 24 July 2017, a suicide car bombing occurred in Kabul, Afghanistan.[1] It happened during morning rush hour in a Shia neighbourhood in the west of the city.[1] The bomber rammed the car into the side of a bus which was transporting government employees to work.[1] At least 35 people were killed and dozens of others injured.[1] The bombing destroyed the bus, three other vehicles and several businesses.[1] The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.[1]
