2021 Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council election

Elections to Kirklees Metropolitan District Council will take place on Thursday 6th May 2021. This is on the same day as other local elections in the United Kingdom, including the inaugural West Yorkshire mayoral election. One third of the total council seats are up for election with each of the 23 wards electing a councillor. The election was originally scheduled to take place in 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
