- 10-11: 2019 Kaduna State massacre.
- 2019 Nigerian general election was on 16 February 2019 to elect the President and the National Assembly.[1][2] They will be the sixth quadrennial elections since the end of military rule in 1999. Presidential primaries are likely to be held during the last six months of 2018

December
- December 13 - Action Against Hunger says four of six aid workers held by ISIL in the Islamic State's Central Africa Province since July have been killed.[4]
