2018 ATP World Tour Masters 1000

This is the tenth year that the Masters Series is being called the Masters 1000, with the addition of the number 1000 referring to the amount of ranking points which are won, since it began in 2009. Rafael Nadal won 3 titles in this season to win 33 total Masters titles and broke tie with Novak Djokovic for player with the highest number of Masters titles.[1] Djokovic went on to become the first player to win all nine ATP Masters 1000 events, when he won Cincinnati Masters.[2] Juan Martin del Potro, John Isner, and Karen Khachanov went on win their maiden ATP Masters title in this season.[3]
