1963 World Archery Championships
The 1963 World Archery Championships was the 22nd edition of the World Archery Championships. The event was held in Helsinki, Finland in July 1963 and was organised by World Archery Federation (FITA). [1] For the third competition running, the United States achieved a clean sweep of the gold medals, although Victoria Cook's victory in the women's competition ahead of Nancy Vonderheide was considered a shock.[2]
