September 16 - Revolución Libertadora: Peron overthrown
September-Major General Eduardo Lonardi took office as president. He wanted to rebuild the democratic government, but was overthrown.[1]
September- Major General Pedro Eugenio Aramburu overthrew Lonardi.[1]
