1931 Afghan parliamentary election
Parliamentary elections were held in the Kingdom of Afghanistan in 1931. A new Afghan Constitution, which went into effect on 31 October 1931,[1] called for parliamentary elections to be held every 3 years.[2] The first of these were held in 1931.[2] Males aged over 20 cast their votes to affect Afghan parliament.[1] The first formal bi-cameral Afghan Parliament convened later that same year.[3]
