Yutong City Master
The Yutong City Master is a 2011 model of low-floor double-decker bus that was first designed for JSP Skopje, the public company which has operated bus routes in Skopje since 1948. The bus design is in a "retro" style, similar to London's AEC Routemaster. A total of 220 have entered service.

On 14 April 2010, the government of the Republic of Macedonia ordered 202 double-decker buses from the Chinese manufacturer Yutong, worth 35.5 million euros.[1][2]
The first 68 transit buses were put into service on 6 September 2011.[3] The total number of the buses increased to 220, including 15 cabriolet buses with removable roofs for tourists. The cost of the project is over €41 million, which was paid by the Macedonian government.[4]
Some City Masters also appear in some cities in China such as Guangzhou,Jiangmen.[5][6]
Design
The buses are designed in a "retro" style, similar to Leyland Titans, the former London double-decker buses previously used in Skopje. Hundreds of London buses were bought by the Yugoslavian government in 1950s and used in Skopje until the 1963 Skopje earthquake in which 80% of the city's infrastructure was destroyed.[7][8][9]
The prototype bus appeared on the streets of Skopje on 1 March 2011.[10][11]
The buses have an American engine produced in the UK, with high quality ECO 5. The framework is made in Germany, only the chassis is made in China. [12]
