Career
Kinoshita was born in Katsushika, Tokyo, and attended Shibuya Liberal High School. She began modelling at the age of 19, when she got her first assignment as a lingerie model in the 2007 edition of Sanai swimsuit image girl. Later in 2008, she landed another assignment as an image girl for the company Kygnus Sekiyu. She also did gravure modelling and released two photobooks, with the first being Yukina 2007 and the second Wakannai in 2008, as well as two DVDs. She became famous primarily as a television personality, appearing first on the quiz show Quiz! Hexagon II, where she became known as a o-baka tarento (dumb celebrity).[2] It was during this time that she became a part of the bands Pabo and Aladdin the Second. She has appeared in commercials for popular brands such as Pizza Hut, Kirin Brewery Company, and GREE, as well as in Japanese fashion magazines like Pinky and Vivi. In 2007 she was a regular on Pokémon Sunday.
Personal life
On August 28, 2010, she married the Japanese comedian Toshifumi Fujimoto, member of comedy duo Fujiwara, with whom she co-starred on Quiz! Hexagon II.[3] On August 6, 2012, Kinoshita gave birth to their first daughter.[4] On November 3, 2015, she gave birth to their second daughter.[5]
In November, 2019, Kinoshita was involved in a scandal as she was discovered to have wrongfully accused and threatened a tapioca milk tea shop for mistakenly believing that they did not pay her sister who was working at the shop. Kinoshita was said to have of used forceful or threatening methods through her influence in the entertainment industry,[6] which have been called by many netizens as a form of "bullying".[7] Due to the event, Kinoshita subsequently was cut from numerous television programs she was previously a part of. Furthermore, Kinoshita divorced on December 31, 2019,[8] after which it was discovered that there are suspicions of an affair between her and multiple other men including national team footballer Takashi Inui[9][10] and several unnamed singers from pop idol groups.
It was later revealed that Kinoshita had been cheating on her ex-husband, Fujimoto, since early 2015 with her personal hairstylist, months before she was pregnant with her second child. In 2016, NAOTO, a member of the boy band EXILE was cast in the same program as her, which led to the start of a intimate relationship and affair between the two that continued until July 2020.[11] On the program, Kinoshita and NAOTO were regulars of a segment where they interviewed married men drinking late at night about their relationship with their wives. Kinoshita's segment specifically had her interrogate if these men were cheating or flirting with other women where she heavily berated such behavior such as infidelity. Kinoshita and NAOTO on numerous occasions after these location shoots would then frequent bars and stay together overnight at love hotels.[12] NAOTO would also stay at Kinoshita's home when Fujimoto stays out for business trips.[13] Suspicions of the pair had risen long before as they often post intimate photos with each other on Instagram, but stating that they are just friends.[14] Additionally, Kinoshita had several affair trips with unnamed talents in 2019 including Inui.[15] A frequent destination was Hawaii, which in June 2019, she was seen without her husband with other men but also her daughter. It was revealed that she took the affair trip on impulse after a brief fight with her ex-husband at the time, and that she frequently brings along her daughter to these trips as well.
She announced her temporary retirement from the entertainment industry in February,[16] but resumed entertainment and work related activities on July 1, 2020. On July 6, 2020, it was announced that she had fully retired from the entertainment industry after her agency had discovered her frequent affairs and stated that her unwillingness to give up her cheating lifestyle caused a disagreement in their negotiations, leading them to part ways with one another.[17]
