Career
He makes presentations at scientific conferences. He and wrote a book about the Patriotic War of 1812. Due to a scheduling conflict, he did not defend his diploma at the university; therefore it was not issued.
Since 2004, he regularly gives concerts as a singer (tenor), and as a reader of poetry and prose. In addition, he participates in concerts as a host and a presenter.
The views of Ponasenkov on the Patriotic War of 1812 were almost unanimously rejected by the Russian scientific community.[1]
He is starred in Boris Godunov and Shadowboxing 3: Last Round (2011).
In 2018, Ponasenkov got the popular Russian mocking award VRAL, presented "for outstanding contribution to the development and dissemination of pseudoscience". While working on the award, the organizers were faced with attacks by bots and trolls.[12]
