Workplace Relations Commission
The Workplace Relations Commission is an Irish government-operated quasi-judicial forum which decides cases of alleged discrimination under Irish equality legislation.[1] Established in 2015, it replaced – and took over all the functions of – the earlier Equality Tribunal, which was set up under the Employment Equality Act 1998 and had its capacity enhanced under the Employment Equality Acts 1998–2008, Equal Status Acts 2000–2008, and Pensions Acts 1990–2008.
