William Earl Lynd

William Earl Lynd (January 25, 1955 - May 6, 2008 in Jackson, Georgia) was an American murderer. His victim was Ginger Moore.[1]

He was the first to be executed in the United States after the Baze v. Rees ruling and the 1100th to be executed since 1976.[2] On May 6, 2008 he was put to death by lethal injection[3] in Jackson, Georgia. He was pronounced dead at 7:51 p.m..
