Wigtwizzle
Wigtwizzle is a hamlet located in the Ewden Valley, to the north-west of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, England. The hamlet stands to the east of the Broomhead Reservoir and the village of Bolsterstone.[1][2][3]

History
The name of the hamlet is derived from the Anglo-Saxon period, roughly translating to 'Wicga's land at the confluence of two streams’ .[4]
Wigtwizzle Hall, which featured a datestone of 1610 stood in the hamlet, but was demolished in 1936, with the stones being used to construct the Broomhead Reservoir.[5]
