Whitney Lynn Ball
Whitney Lynn Ball (September 26, 1962 – August 17, 2015) was an American philanthropist who co-founded the non-profit donor-advised fund Donors Trust in 1999 to assist philanthropists in making contributions to conservative, libertarian political causes. She had served as president and CEO of Donors Trust. Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, she graduated from Morgantown High School in 1980 and from Sweet Briar College in Sweet Briar, Virginia in 1984 with a degree in political economy. Ball previously worked at the Cato Institute and The Philanthropy Roundtable.[1] Whitney Ball died in 2015 at the age of 52 from complications of breast cancer.[2]
