Wendy Rogers (politician)
Wendy Rogers is an American politician, former military pilot and the State Senator-elect for Arizona's 6th district. She served in the United States Air Force from 1976 to 1996, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Early life and education
Rogers was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky. She joined the U.S. Air Force in 1976 and served as a jet pilot, reaching the rank of Lt. Colonel. She retired in 1996. Rogers earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Michigan State University in 1976, a master's degree in social work from the University of Alabama, and a master's degree in national security studies from California State-San Bernardino.[2]

- 2010 Rogers ran for the state senate in District 17, losing to Democrat David Schapira.[3]
- 2012 Rogers ran for Congress in District 9, losing the Republican primary to Vernon Parker.
- 2014 Rogers ran for Congress in District 9, losing to the Democratic incumbent Kyrsten Sinema.
- 2016 Rogers ran for Congress in District 1, losing the Republican primary to Sheriff Paul Babeu.
- 2018 Rogers ran for Congress in District 1, losing to the Democratic incumbent Tom O'Halleran.
- 2020 Rogers ran for the state senate in District 6, defeating incumbent Sylvia Allen in the primary and claiming victory over Felicia French in the general election.[4]
