Economy
Vijaipur is primarily known as the site of one of India's largest fertilizer plants, owned and operated by National Fertilizers Limited.[3] The Hazira-Vijaipur-Jagdishpur (HVJ) natural gas pipeline of GAIL, made the town well known in India.
