Victor Ngumah

Victor Ngumah is a Nigerian politician, businessman and philanthropist.[1] He is the chief executive officer of Lumen media.[2] He won the 2018 City People Magazine award for Media/Showbiz Personality and 2019 Peace Achievers award for Peace Builder/Award for Excellence in Community Development and Leadership Skills.[3][4]

Early life

Ngumah is a native of Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria. He went to Mater Ecclesiae Seminary, Mbaise, Imo State for his secondary school education and preceded to Radford University College Ghana where he got a degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT).[5]

Career

Ngumah is a Nigerian politician, businessman and philanthropist. He is the chief executive officer of Lumen media.[2] In 2019, he contested in the 2019 Nigerian general election to represent Ezinihitte Mbaise state constituency in the Imo state house of assembly on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), after the election, he called for the amendment of the Nigerian electoral act.[6][7] On 10 July 2019, he was announced as a director of SBOC Energy Services.[5]

Philanthropy

Ngumah started Victor for Victory Global Foundation (VVGF) to promote young talents and cater for underprivileged persons.[5] In 2018, he launched "Operation Get Your Sight Back", where he distributed corrective eye glasses for people with eye defects.[8][9]
