Vardan (Armenian: Վարդան) (Vartan in Western Armenian transliteration and pronunciation), Varden (Georgian: ვარდენ) in Georgian, is an Armenian name of Middle Persian origin (from Mid. Pers. Wardā),[1] popular in Armenia and Georgia.
