Vaan (film)

Vaan (transl. Sky) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language travel based romantic drama film written and directed by RA Karthik in his directorial debut.[1][2] The film stars Dulquer Salmaan in lead role while, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Kriti Kharbanda and Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the three female leads. Dheena Dhayalan made his debut as music director in the film, Dharan Kumar composed two songs and cinematography will be performed by George C. Williams. Principal photography of the film began in around mid December 2018.

Dulquer Salmaan who is known for his works in Mollywood industry signed for another Tamil film directed by debutant RA Karthik. The first look poster for the film unveiled on 15 June 2018 on the eve of Ramadan.[3] Soon after the announcement of the film, the media carried reports that Nivetha Pethuraj is going to play one of the three female leads roles. Later Kalyani Priyadarshan replaced her. Priya Bhavani Shankar was selected to play one of the main leads. Kriti Kharbandha was also roped in for another supporting role.[4][5]

The film was launched on 5 December 2018 in Chennai and popular director K. S. Ravikumar was invited as chief guest during the event.[6] The shooting of the film went on floors from mid December 2018.[7]
