History
ZAO International Moscow Bank (IMB) was founded on 19 October 1989. In 2001 IMB was merged with a Russia-based subsidiary of Bank Austria. In 2005, Bank Austria along with its parent company HypoVereinsbank was acquired by UniCredit Group. (Bank Austria remained as the direct parent company of the Russian bank until September 2016[2]) In 2007, IMB was renamed as ZAO UniCredit Bank.[3] In 2014, the bank was registered as AO UniCredit Bank.[4]
