The activities of UMA Music Group include the Unsigned Music Awards, a major televised awards ceremony hosted in the UK by Laura Whitmore and Chris Stark; UMA Music, an online and print publication concentrating on the best of emerging music; and UMA Ventures, an investment company set up to invest in the careers of self-signing artists with a unique model focussing on creative control and copyright retention for artists.[1]
UMA Ventures was launched as a joint venture between UMA Music Group and Stephen Pell, chartered accountant and international tax specialist for the music and entertainment industry, and former Business Manager to the likes of Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix and Deadmau5.
