The wingspan is about 19 mm. The forewings are dark fuscous with white slightly inwards-oblique marks on the costa at the middle and two-thirds, where slender light brownish straight transverse streaks run to the fold, a similar light brownish bar between these on the end of the cell. There is a violet-golden-metallic pre-marginal streak around the apex, termen, and the tornus to the lower end of the second transverse streak. The hindwings are dark fuscous with a pale brownish transverse spot at one-third, not quite reaching the margins. There is also a pale brownish fascia beyond the middle, broad above, attenuated dorsally, the upper part centrally suffused whitish. There is also a violet-metallic pre-apical spot.[2]
