Triples (web series)
Triples is an Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy web series produced by Karthik Subbaraj and directed by Charukesh Sekar.[1][2] The series stars Jai, Vivek Prasanna and Rajkumar in three main roles as mentioned in the Title of the series ( Triples ).[3][4] It released on Hotstar on December 11, 2020.[5]

Production
Producer Karthik Subbaraj and director Charukesh Sekar noted that the show was written to match Crazy Mohan's style of writing. The characters names in the series are also a reference to Mohan's theatre sketches.[6]

Release
Triples was announced as part of the first Tamil Original slate along with November Story, Live Telecast etc. in October 2020.[8] The first trailer was released on November 30, 2020 revealing the series will premiere on December 11, 2020 on Hotstar globally.[9]
Reception
Vishal Menon of Film Companion, wrote, "The show, directed by Charukesh Sekar might be a homage to the Crazy Mohan universe, and it aspires to be crazy too. It’s just not ‘Crazy’ enough."[10]
