Tibicen
Tibicen is a genus of cicadas from Europe and the Middle East.[1] A petition has been submitted to the ICZN to suppress the name Tibicen in favor of its junior synonym, Lyristes[2] but this has not yet been voted on and approved, and Tibicen remains valid until the petition is resolved.
