Thiruvananthapuram–Silchar Superfast Express
The 12507 / 08 / 15 / 16 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Silchar Express is a Superfast Express train belonging to Indian Railways Northeast Frontier Railway zone that runs between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Silchar in India. It holds the record of 28th longest train service in the world. Initially it ran between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Guwahati. From 21 November 2017, it has been extended to Silchar.[3] After this extension, it is now the longest-running superfast train and the second longest running train in India.

It operates as train number 12507 / 15 from Thiruvananthapuram Central to Silchar and as train number 12508 / 16 in the reverse direction serving the 8 states of Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

The 12508 / 16 Silchar–Thiruvananthapuram Central Express covers the distance of 3,932 km (2,443 mi) in 74 hrs 45 mins (52.60 km/hr), in 76 hrs 35 mins as 12515 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Silchar Express (51.34 km/hr) and in 74 hrs 5 mins as 12507 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Silchar Express (53.07 km/hr).
A Howrah-based WDM-3A hauls the train from Silchar up to Howrah Junction, handing over to a Howrah-based WAP-4 which powers the train up to Visakhapatnam following which Erode or Arakkonam based WAP-4 takes over until Thiruvananthapuram Central.

The 12507 / 08 / 15 / 16 Silchar–Thiruvananthapuram Central Express runs from Silchar to Thiruvananthapuram Central via Badarpur Junction, Lumding Junction, Kamakhya Junction, Rangiya Junction, New Bongaigaon Junction, New Jalpaiguri Junction, New Farakka Junction, Howrah Junction, Kharagpur Junction, Cuttack Junction, Khurda Road Junction, Vizianagaram Junction, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada Junction Chennai Central, Arakkonam Junction, Katpadi Junction, Jolarpettai Junction, Salem Junction, Erode Junction, Coimbatore Junction, Palakkad Junction, Kayamkulam Junction and Kollam Junction.
