The southern terminus is at US 82 near Victory City, at the entrance to the Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant.[2] The short route travels north through Leary before ending at an interchange with I-30 at Exit #212.[1]

History

The original route numbered Spur 74 was designated as part of the 1939 highway plan, and connected the historic routing of SH 24 to Whiteface in Cochran County as a renumbering of SH 24 Spur. This mileage was transferred to FM 769 on October 18, 1948, which this section would later become part of SH 125.[3] The current routing of Spur 74 was designated on November 30, 1961.[1]
