Texas House of Representatives, District 83
District 83 is a district in the Texas House of Representatives. It encompasses all of Terry, Lynn, Gaines, Borden, Scurry, and Mitchell counties, most of Lubbock County, and the outskirts of the city of Lubbock.[1] Since 2014, it has been represented by Republican Dustin Burrows,[2] who won reelection in 2018 with 77.3% of the vote.[3]
