22-years old Greek Esmée Simirioti[1] won the gold medal by defeating her compatriot Sophia Marinou in three sets.

This is one of two events that featured a specific match to determine the bronze medal winner,[2] in which Euphrosine Paspati completed an all-greek podium by winning the bronze medal.
